St. Columban Lot Registrations ca. 1880
This list, showing lot number and the individual to whom the lot was registered, has been extracted from an unofficial cadastral map of the St. Columban area, ca. 1880. A space between groups of names indicates non-contiguous sections of the community. Lots west of Riviére Du Nord, several of which were held by familiar names, have not been included here, since they appear to be under a jurisdiction other than St. Columban at the time. Note that the lot numbering scheme does not follow the same system as used in the 1860 Cadastre, but does cover the same territory.

Please Note: Some of the unidentified lots numbers in the 1880 map (like the following) are often very smalls lots. They are generally a location for an operation like a mill or school. For example, lot 253 was the location of a saw-mill owned by Arthur McGarr.
