In my records, I have the following concerning [highlight]Pauline Catherine Stapleton[/highlight]?.
I have her birth as on July 14th 1896, and her baptism on July 16th 1896 in St. Patrick?s Church in Montreal (B265). Her parents were listed as Michael Stapleton, baptized in St. Columban on June 4th 1872 (B11) and Ann Julia O?Rourke, baptized in St. Columban on September 1 1860. Michael Stapleton & Ann Julia O?Rourke were married on January 4th 1895 in St. Patrick?s Church in Montreal (M4).
I have Michael Stapleton?s parents listed as John Stapleton & Bridget Wells and Ann parents listed as Samuel O?Rourke & Catherine Phelan.
John & Bridget were married in St. Columban on September 12 1865. I have Bridget?s baptism as noted on February 10th 1837 in St. Columban. I do not have any information on the birth of John Stapleton. However, I do have John?s parents noted as Michael Stapleton & Judith Marshall. And, I have Bridget?s parents noted as Charles John Wells & Margaret Farrell. On John Wells, I have a note that he was born about 1805 likely in Ireland and that he died at 68 years old was buried in St. Columban on March 19 1873 (S3)
On her mother side, Ann Julia O?Rourke?s parents are noted as Samuel O?Rourke and Catherine Phelan married in St. Columban on April 21 1857. Samuel?s parents are noted as Samuel O?Rourke & Judith Grace. This Samuel O?Rourke is noted as having been born about 1794 (likely in Ireland) and he died at 80 years old on December 27th 1876. He was buried in St. Columban on January 2nd 1877 (S1). Judith Grace was born about 1791 and died at 65 years old and was buried in St. Columban on October 13 1856 (S3)
I have the following siblings listed for Pauline ? Josephine Margaret Stapleton, baptized on December 5th 1897 at St. Patrick?s (B451) but who died at only 7 months old and was then buried in St. Columban on June 30 1898 (S4); John Samuel Stapleton baptized at St. Patrick?s on May 23 1895 (B152) and Samuel Gerald Stapleton, baptized in St. Patrick?s on April 15 1900 (B77)
Of course, all this information, dates etc. are subject to verification. And, perhaps other researchers have more or different information.
