Shelia has sent us this information that might be related to St. Columban:-
I am just sending this along by chance there may be a connection to your group.

St. Patrick's, Montreal, Feb. 4, 1865 - B95
Luke Callaghan, born on the 2nd. son of John Callaghan, shoemaker and of Bridget Phelan of this parish.GP: Elizabeth Buckley Callaghan, John Callaghan
and my reply
Hi Shelia;
Might be one of ours. Not sure we have a lot of Phelan's in St. Columban including four (4) Bridget Phelan, 3 of who could be this one mentioned. We also have a number of O'Callaghan in St. Columban, so certainly could be possible. I'll post it to our site, in case someone else can make the connection...
Thanks again
Fergus
