TOUR TO ST. COLUMBAN - OCTOBER 20th 2007

Just a reminder that on Saturday, October 20th, the Point St. Charles History Society (SHPSC) has scheduled a bus tour to St. Columban & St. Eustache. This tour leaves the Point at 9am and should return around 4 or 5 pm. The reservation fee includes a meal and all taxes etc. In St. Columban, this bilingual tour includes a visit to the Church & Cemetery ? a community that was almost 100% Irish in the 1800?s. In St. Eustache, there is also a visit to a Church where the last big battle between the Patriotes of Lower Canada and the British troops took place. It should be fun ? but you must reserve.
