[highlight]But, I did want to let you know quickly, that Claude?s new updated book about St. Columban is now available [/highlight]!!

As most of you know the book is basically written in French - but it does have more than 500 photos and maps etc. that might make it still interesting to someone who only speaks English.

The cost of this book, including postage is:

Jeff has also designed a flyer to help promote Claude's new book.

So if you would like to print a flyer and post them; or hand them out somewhere, just click on the link below and you can print them from there.....

For example, Anne McLaughlin has mentioned that she will try to distribute some flyers at the annual walk to the "Black Rock" in Montreal.

In case you are not aware of this walk.... there is a large rock (taken from the St. Lawrence river during the bridge construction) erected at the foot of the Victoria Bridge on the Montreal side. This rock honours the many Irish who died, and were buried in the area, around 1847. Each year, a group of Irish (and often including other nationalities) march from St. Gabriel's Church in Point St. Charles to this "Black Rock" and hold a small service in honour of these unfortunate Irish immigrants...
